New Forest Family Escape

Arrive and settle into your elegant family suite, complete with thoughtful touches for our youngest guests. Explore the hotel’s gardens, enjoy a light lunch on the sun-drenched terrace whilst you let the kids burn off energy in the outdoor play area, equipped with climbing frames, slides and even a zip line! Alternatively, enjoy some ‘you time’ whilst the little ones are cared for in the Den (our Ofsted-registered crèche for children aged 3 months to 8 years).

In the evening grown-ups can relax and recharge in the award-winning Spa, complete with a glass-fronted indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, and forest-facing outdoor hot tubs - all while taking in tranquil views of roaming ponies and the resident deer herd.  Treat yourself to a soothing  facial, a full-body massage or a detoxifying wrap.

As the day winds down, enjoy a delicious dinner in our family-friendly restaurant.  With locally sourced, seasonal dishes and a thoughtfully curated children's menu, mealtimes are a pleasure for guests of all ages.

Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading out to discover the natural wonders of the New Forest.  Wander or cycle through ancient woodlands and open moorland, spotting free roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and even pigs!  Make a stop at Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary to see if you can spot any of the deer species that inspired the names of some of our beautiful rooms.  You might just find yours!

In the afternoon, the adventure continues with pony rides, a visit to the New Forest Wildlife Park or how about a scenic trip to Lymington for some classic crabbing on the quay - a family favourite.  Back at the hotel, little ones can make a splash in the pool, unleash their creativity in the Den or join in with one of our seasonal events, from forest treasure to garden games.

When evening comes, wind down with a cosy family film night in the cinema - complete with popcorn for the full experience.  Prefer a quiet dinner whilst the kids are entertained?  Take advantage of our baby-monitoring and babysitting services for that well deserved 'grown-up' evening.
