Cashless Payments

From 1st April 2022, we are moving to cashless payments. All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Guarantee policy

Unless otherwise expressed on the rate booked, all bookings require a deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night’s stay - via a valid debit or credit card - at the time of booking. The same card will need to be used to settle the balance at the time of check-in.

For stays during the following school holiday periods 12th July - 31st August 2024, 25th October 2024 -2nd November 2024, 14th - 22nd February 2025, 4th - 22nd April 2025, 23rd - 31st May 2025,  11th July - 31st August 2025 and  24th October 2025  - 1st November 2025, we will charge a non- refundable deposit of 25% of the total stay amount. The same card will need to be used to settle the balance at the time of check-in. We strongly recommended taking out travel insurance.

For Festive Packages, all bookings require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total stay - via a valid debit or credit card- at the time of booking. The same card will need to be used to settle the balance on or around 1st December.

Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise expressed on the rate booked, notice of amendments or cancellations must be received at least 7  full days before the arrival date for Fowey Hall, New Park Manor and Moonfleet Manor. If cancellation is received within the cancellation period then we retain the charge for the first night. We cannot accept date amendments within the cancellation period.

For stays during the following school holiday periods 12th July - 31st August 2024, 25th October 2024 -2nd November 2024, 14th - 22nd February 2025, 4th - 22nd April 2025, 23rd - 31st May 2025,  11th July - 31st August 2025 and  24th October 2025  - 1st November 2025, amendments  must be received at least 14 full days before the arrival date. For any cancellations made outside of 14 days prior to arrival, we will retain the non- refundable deposit paid.  Cancellations, modifications (made within the 14 days prior to arrival), no-shows and early departure will result in a penalty of the entire stay including tax being charged. We strongly recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance.

Notification of cancellation over the festive period must be received by 30th November to avoid a charge for the balance of the stay.

Group bookings of 5 rooms or more have their own cancellation policy which will be advised at the time of booking.

Bedroom Rates

Please note that bedroom rates vary on a daily basis depending on the day of the week and time of year. Rates include VAT at the prevailing rate on the date the service is provided. Rates are per room, per night, based on two adults sharing a room. Interconnecting room rates are for a pair of rooms, per night for up to two adults.

Children stay for free

Children up to the age of 16 stay for free in their parent’s room – subject to the suitability of the room to take extra beds. Rates are inclusive of breakfast for two adults and children staying in the same room. Children’s meals excluding breakfast are charged as taken on our special breaks.

Single occupancy of a double/twin room

A discount of £15 applies for single occupancy on a bed and breakfast basis, and £55 on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis.

Dogs stay for £25 per dog per night

Should you wish to bring your dog with you, there will be a supplement of £25 per dog per night. Please note that not all bedrooms are suitable for dogs and therefore this option is strictly subject to availability and must be booked in advance. We can only accept a maximum of two dogs per room.

Check-in

You will be required to show the payment card used at the time of booking upon arrival at the hotel and this card must be verified by pin. If the same card cannot be presented on check-in the Reception team may need to refund the original payment and re-take the accommodation charges from a new card.

Luxury Family Hotels requires all guests to provide a valid credit or debit card upon check-in. The hotel will take payment from this card for the balance of the room rate (excluding the advance deposit paid), any additional charges which you may incur during your stay should be settled on departure.
