The pebbles on Chesil Beach are graded in size with the largest being found at the Portland end (Close to the Chesil Beach Visitor Centre) and the smallest being found at West Bay. Beachcombing along the 18-mile-long shingle barrier is a great way to spend a few hours.

To get to Chesil Beach you will need to take a short drive to Abbotsbury or Portland.
