A February Half Term Made For Memories

With the Cornish Coast just beyond the windows, half term at Fowey Hall is all about creativity, imagination and shared moments.  In the Four Bears Den, little ones can get hands-on with activities such as Messy Science Laboratory, Let's Pretend Dress-Up Sessions and Wednesday Wiggles - perfect for burning off energy with songs and games.  Budding bakers will love Little Fowey Chefs, while Arty Bears and Groovy Games promise creativity and laughter in equal measure.

For families keen to craft together, our Family Activities programme brings delicious and artistic highlights, from a pizza pop-up, where children can create their own slice of pizza, to ceramic painting, bead workshops and a supervised drama workshop to build confidence and friendships.

Tucked in the heart of The New Forest, New Park Manor invites families to slow down, get creative and take a little piece of half term home with them.  The Four Bears Den is filled with thoughtful, hands-on activities, from designing ceramic coasters and crafting friendship jewellery to making mosaic hearts and woodland animal art.

Across the week, families can decorate biscuits, create sand art, make woodland animal masks and craft Valentine's Day keepsakes.  Chocolate heart lollies and heart bird feeders add a sweet seasonal touch, while workshops like STEM Explorers and Young Gardeners bring curiosity and discovery to our most inquisitive young guests.

At Moonfleet Manor, half term feels like a wonderful mix of snug moments and energetic fun.  Days begin in The Four Bears Den with crown and mask making, sand art, keyring decorating and woodland fairy doors, with sessions tailored for both younger and older children.

Elsewhere around the hotel, families can toast marshmallows in the woodland, bounce around in the Play Barn, enjoy a game of bingo in the lounge or add a little sparkle with glitter tattoos.  For curious minds, the Science Lab and Escape Rooms promise immersive adventures, while animal feeding gives children to meet Moonfleet's resident animals, always the most magical moment.

Half Term at Woolley Grange unfolds at a soft, cosy pace - the kind of place where imagination leads the way.  In The Four Bears Den, daily themed sessions like Magic Monday, Wild Wednesday and Fun Friday invite children to play, create and explore with the team.

Families can join in with Little Green Fingers Club, pottery painting, arts and crafts workshops and even discovering tropical animals.  There's s'mores toasting, glitter tattoos, wish making in the Fairy Garden and stories before tea time in our cosy lounges.  Every evening ends with milk and cookies whilst watching story time on TV - the perfect end to a hands-on day.
