Travelling with a newborn is usually so stressful because there’s just so much you need to take with you. We recently stayed at Fowey Hall, part of Luxury Family Hotels, who have partnered with Bugaboo to ensure families like us had everything we needed for our stay.

Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, we were greeted by the reception team, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay. They arranged our dinner to be sent to our room as we had a long journey getting to Cornwall from Essex which we were so grateful for as their kitchen was just about to close for the evening.

Everything from the stunning views from our balcony to the perfectly cooked food was so nice! We had the chateaubriand on our second night which did not disappoint. Moving onto the hotel facilities there was a lot they had to offer and had something for everyone to enjoy which I thought was so good!

The first thing I noticed was the Bugaboo giraffe highchairs in their restaurants. It was Serenna’s first time being in one and we absolutely loved her sitting with us whilst we were having breakfast and dinner. Our room came equipped with a Bugaboo Stardust travel cot, changing mat and nappy bin which I thought was really useful for those night changes. The bottle drop off service is a game changer, you leave your dirty baby bottles at the front desk and they come back cleaned and sterilised. The hotel had facilities for everyone including a games room which kept my hubby entertained a lot of the time. There was also a library and a cinema room offering different showings each evening with homemade popcorn. My husband and I are kids at heart so we loved this idea! The pool outside was the perfect temperature which was perfect for our little one and being lucky with the weather we got to enjoy spending time poolside.

During our stay I managed to squeeze in some me time; I popped down to the spa and opted for a 55-minute back, neck and shoulder massage & an express facial! I left feeling so relaxed and revitalised. They had a lot of treatments including packages with treatments for the little ones which I personally thought was a really nice touch as I’ve not seen anywhere offer these before.
