The Times 100 Best Places to Stay in the UK

The Times & Sunday Times have unveiled their list of ‘100 Best Places to Stay in the UK’. We are thrilled that Fowey Hall has been awarded as the ‘Best Family-friendly Hotel’ within this annual list. A fantastic achievement for the hotel and the team following the refurbishment of the hotel in 2023.

The Times '100 Best Places to Stay' list is carefully curated by a team of journalists. They visit hundreds of properties the length and breadth of the UK, on the lookout for new openings and established hotels.  Every establishment on the list has been trialled, tested and reviewed by a member of their team, who ensure the interiors are up to scratch, the facilities live up to the marketing promises and the food is delicious. They look for properties that are filled with character and all the luxuries, but also represent value for money.

After visiting Fowey Hall in 2023, Cathy Adams from The Times wrote that Fowey Hall ‘is the de facto flagship property of the Luxury Family Hotels group’ She was delighted to find that ‘Kids are the main event here and are treated like VIPs by cheerful staff.’ and highlighted services such as ‘free childcare and milk butlers’.
