The first night we opted for a meal in the Moonfleet restaurant, we decided to go quite early due to the kids. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff couldn’t do enough for the children. Bugaboo Giraffe highchairs and a selection of toys were supplied by the restaurant which ensured the kids were comfortable and kept them entertained. There were purées for Taylor and a good choice of food for Bobby but also other amenities to heat baby food if required.
After dinner, we decided to chill in front of one of the log fires and play games with a cocktail or 2! Taylor was able to sleep in her pram whilst Bobby enjoyed milk and cookies in the cinema room. There was also the option to use one of the provided baby monitors which we saw a lot of people taking advantage of (or even hire a babysitter!). We opted to get the kids to bed early and enjoyed room service with a film!
The following day we started off with a buffet continental breakfast followed by a full English breakfast. We then went for a swim and got ready for the day. Robin took Bobby to the games room, The Verandah, which was kitted out with football goals, trampolines and arcade machines. There is also a crèche that can be booked to give you 90 minutes of complimentary childcare per night, allowing some time for R&R if desired! We spent the day exploring Weymouth and ventured to Hive Beach Café for some local seafood before heading back to enjoy a cheese board in front of the fire whilst Bobby again was entertained with a film and some popcorn.
We had such a great time at Moonfleet Manor definitely a trip that will live long in the memory! The staff, hotel, food and amenities made our stay extra special.
