Chesil Beach
Chesil Beach is a stunning natural wonder that stretches 18 miles along the Dorset coast. The pebble beach is perfect for a long, leisurely walk with your dog. There are plenty of opportunities for your pup to run and play, and you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the sea. Just be sure to keep your dog on a lead, as there are nesting birds in the area. To access the beach you will have to drive to either Abbotsbury or Portland from the hotel.
Ringstead Bay
Just a short drive from Moonfleet Manor is Ringstead Bay, a hidden gem that's perfect for a long, peaceful walk. Right on the doorstep is the South West Coastal Path, if you head west you can take a stroll along the Fleet Lagoon to the village of Langton Herring. It is a three-mile round trip on foot from the hotel, but you can stop halfway at the village pub, The Elm Tree, to have a drink or bite to eat.
