This year, Fowey Hall is pulling out all the stops to create an unforgettable Christmas experience for the whole family. Nestled on the south Cornish coast, our four-night Christmas break promises family feasts, delightful entertainment, and a touch of magic for everyone, including your beloved canine companions.
23rd December: The Festivities Begin
Kick off your Christmas break with a warm welcome at Fowey Hall. Upon arrival, guests are treated to a chilled glass of Hambledon and an afternoon tea buffet in our drawing room. Children can join in supervised sessions in the Den to meet new friends, setting the stage for a festive adventure.
As the evening approaches, gather around the firepit for marshmallow toasting and a heart-warming performance by our local choir. Dinner is a family affair, with magicians roaming the dining room to entertain and amaze. End the night with family-friendly festive movies in the Cinema Room, complete with popcorn. For the grown-ups, we offer a late-night screening of holiday classics, accompanied by cocktails from the bar.
Christmas Eve: Excitement in the Air
Start your day with breakfast in our dining rooms before exploring our spa facilities or indulging in a spa treatment. For children, we have a morning session in the Den to make reindeer food and cookies for Father Christmas. Our petting farm and festive donkey rides are sure to bring smiles to little faces.
The afternoon is filled with festive fun, including our annual gingerbread house-making competition and classic board games with mulled wine and mince pies. Later, gather for a magical reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' in the library, complete with milk and cookies. As night falls, join us for a family quiz or simply relax with festive films in the Cinema Room.
