Summer of Play at Lanhydrock House

Discover the Lanhydrock gardens’ family play hub this summer

On the lawn, you will find lots of games and on the old tennis court, there will be giant building blocks, a specially constructed barefoot trail in the parterre, and a magical music circle in front of the house. Families can compete in a sack race, dress up in the theatre room or enjoy a picnic and some cloud-spotting on the formal lawns.

Every Thursday there is a chance to catch Mrs Candy the cook and the other Victorian staff around the house and garden to learn about life in the Victorian country house.

On Fridays, there will also be storytelling sessions in the nursery and garden.
