Travelling with a baby has a habit of making a two-night break look remarkably like a house move. Bottles. Sterilising equipment. Feeding bits. Something to warm the bottle. Something to help them sleep. And, somehow, the smallest person in the family ends up needing most of the boot.

So, we’ve made the packing list a little shorter.

We’ve partnered with Tommee Tippee to bring useful baby and toddler equipment to every Luxury Family Hotel, from bottle prep and feeding equipment to blackout blinds and sleep aids. It means fewer bulky things to bring from home and more waiting for you when you arrive.

Baby-friendly hotels with more provided

Being genuinely baby-friendly means thinking beyond the travel cot. It means thinking about the bottle you’ll need to make before breakfast, the toddler determined to feed themselves at dinner and the bedtime routine you’re hoping will work just as well away from home. That’s where our new Tommee Tippee partnership comes in.

At our family hotels in Cornwall, Dorset, the New Forest, Wiltshire and Suffolk, guests travelling with babies and toddlers can now use a range of Tommee Tippee equipment during their stay.

Formula-feeding families can request a PerfectPrep® Formula Feed Maker or Electric Baby Bottle Warmer for their bedroom, while the PrepGo Portable Formula Feed Maker can make getting out for the day a little simpler too.

Bedtime is covered as well, Sleeptight™ Portable Blackout Blinds and Dreammaker™ Light and Sound Baby Sleep Aids are available to help recreate a more familiar set-up when it’s time to settle down.

Need bottles sterilised? Our hotel teams can help with that too, using Tommee Tippee's UV 3-in-1 Steriliser, Dryer and Storage. One less thing taking up half the suitcase.

Making mealtimes easier too

Of course, feeding a baby doesn't stop when you leave the bedroom. Our restaurants will also have Tommee Tippee products ready for our youngest guests, including First Cups, Easiscoop feeding bowls, Softee weaning spoons and Easigrip self-feeding spoons. Some food may even make it into their mouth.

Where we know your child's age and what you'll need before you arrive, our teams can prepare the most useful products for you in advance. So rather than filling your room with things you won’t use, we can have the bits that will actually help ready when you need them.

What baby equipment can I request?

Depending on what your family needs, Tommee Tippee equipment available across our hotels includes:

  • PerfectPrep® Formula Feed Makers
  • Electric Baby Bottle Warmers
  • PrepGo Portable Formula Feed Makers
  • UV bottle sterilising equipment
  • Portable blackout blinds
  • Baby sleep aids
  • Baby and toddler cups
  • Weaning bowls and spoons

Equipment is subject to availability, so if there’s something you know you’ll need, let the hotel team know before you arrive and we’ll do our best to have it ready.

And there’s more than the packing list

For us, being a baby-friendly hotel isn't simply about having cots and highchairs available. It’s about making the whole stay work a little better for everyone.

A familiar bedtime set-up. Breakfast without having to remember quite so much. Two hours in Four Bears Den for little ones. And perhaps a little time for the grown-ups to enjoy a treatment, finish a coffee while it’s still hot or simply sit somewhere lovely for a while.

Our partnership with Tommee Tippee is another way we’re making those first family stays easier. And hopefully leaving a little more room in the car for the one thing nobody was ever going to leave behind: their favourite teddy.
