A peek at what's to come in our newly-refurbished spa

If you're following New Park Manor on Instagram, you're likely to have seen our weekly refurbishment update. The outdoor pool is taking shape, the new adventure playground is in place and we're making strides with the interiors; we can't wait to throw open our doors again in April. Whilst we wait for the re-opening to come around, we wanted to share the plans for the spa as this area will not only be given a makeover, there will also be some new additions.

Calming interiors

Inside, every inch of the spa will be given a brand new look by London-based design team, StudioJill. The reception and lounge area will feature sisal flooring, textured limewash walls, linen curtains and rattan furniture with an ambient glow from statement pendant lighting. As always, there will be a pop of pattern through monochrome striped fabric, an LFH staple. Letting the enchanting forest view sing through new floor-to-ceiling windows, the poolside interiors will be parred back, with cream and black tiling and natural wood cladding. And in the changing rooms, expect live edge wooden furniture and carved stone basins.

An enhanced terrace

Outside, the spa terrace is also going to be given a complete transformation. Landscaping will make way for not one but two new hot tubs and a whole host of furniture from which to sit or lounge under the sun. We will also be adding a brand new glass-fronted snug, which will be perched on the edge of the terrace - perfect for taking in the beautiful views in inclement weather.

A new, technology-enabled meditation pod

Back inside, we will soon be welcoming a new addition - a Somadome, which is a technology-enabled meditation pod. This freestanding, immersive space promises 20 minute sessions that use LED colour and light therapy, binaural beat meditation and magnetic therapy to create profound mental, physical and spiritual benefits. Founder Sarah Attia developed these pods as “connecting with self allows us to tap into our inner Source, where we are limitless."
